The everyday transfers issued by the Toronto Transit Commission come in two designs. On buses and streetcars - and trolley buses in years gone by - drivers issue preprinted transfers; the design of these longish paper strips has not changed much over the past three decades - the limit of my personal historical perspective.

The other type are printed and issued on-demand from special machines, typically found in fixed locations like subway stations. The design, and the machines, for these "subway" transfers changed in the mid-1990s. The following is my collection of subway transfers from before the change (mainly from the late-1980s to the mid-1990s), issued from the old machines.
